At the moment, many are wondering what will become of their summer vacation with a mobile home. The fact is that the Federal Foreign Office has issued a worldwide travel warning. In addition, politicians have not yet given a clear line of how to proceed.
At least the Development Minister Gerd Müller considers a summer holiday in the south to be possible in principle and told the Funke media group: “I also believe that there is a chance in the Mediterranean region – including in North Africa.” The prerequisite, however, is compliance with European hygiene standards.
At the moment, a holiday in a mobile home is not realistic. Many campers who were caught off guard by the Corona Pandemic abroad were only able to make their way home under difficult conditions. 240 campers from France, Great Britain and Germany only returned to their home countries in a convoy, as the FAZ reported on April 17th.
What will happen to our beloved summer vacation in a mobile home? First of all, one can accept that a vacation far away will probably not be possible this year. The success of a holiday does not depend on the number of kilometers covered. We have the chance to experience a few days vacation very close by. And to get to know our immediate surroundings better.
Just ask the farmer around the corner whether your mobile home can stay overnight (or even longer) on the farmer’s meadow. You’ll be surprised how it feels like a vacation. You wake up in your RV surrounded by greenery. Fresh milk and fresh cheese – you can get that directly in the farm shop. You have the rest with you in your mobile home.
But how long can you stand without electricity and water?
Your flygge shows you exactly how long your supplies of electricity, water and gas will last. Of course also the local weather. Both on your onboard display and in your flygge app.
And so, with flygge, you can have an extraordinary holiday just around the corner that you will remember for a long time.
